PETITION

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Cybertronians are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Amidst the age-old Autobot-Decepticon debate, it happens that the voices of the most disenfranchised Cybertronians are left out: those of the Minicons. Autobots and Decepticons alike forget their long history of exploitation, and pay no mind to the fact that Cybertron’s smallest citizens still do not have the right to vote.

Critics of Universal Minicon Suffrage claim that beings supposedly created by the unmaker can’t be trusted with a vote. This is degrading and untrue—Minicons have proven themselves to have clear judgement and to be model citizens. Often, Minicons prioritize peace and unity on Cybertron more highly than all other Cybertronians do. The right to vote is innate, not earned, but if it were earned, Minicons would have done so many times over.

This petition is an attempt to bring attention to and change the way Minicons are treated in our society today.

Freedom is the right of all sentient beings. A population that doesn’t have the right to vote isn’t truly free.
